Karla Arenas Valenti: Author Visit and Celebration

Author Presentation, Book Sale and Signing, Photo Opportunity and Crafts!

Head to the Robert Crown Community Center on District 65 Early Dismissal Day for an afternoon of wonder and fun!

In celebration of her most recently published books, acclaimed local author Karla Arenas Valenti will join us for a dynamic presentation about her books, magical realism, writing books for children, growing up in Mexico and so much more!

There will be a fun art activity about alebrijes from Mexican folk art. Participants will get a chance to partake in a poinsettia craft activity, purchase books from Booked, and have a photo taken with our very own Day of the Dead Catrina folk character. The day will wrap up with a book signing. Come be part of the fun! Registration required for each participant.
