CHESS WORKSHOP Monday OCTOBER 9th, 2023- CHICAGO OR PARK RIDGE!
Sponsored by Chess-Ed, the SCHOOLS-OUT CHESS WORKSHOP on MONDAY October 9th features high-quality instruction, one-on-one coaching and supervised play time.
The staff from Chess-Ed will instruct students with opening theory, middle game planning and combinations, and winning endgame technique. Students are grouped according to skill level:
- beginner/novice players
- intermediate/ continuing players
- advanced/tournament players.
Research shows that chess helps students develop analytical and critical thinking, set goals, focus for long periods, and learn to make better decisions – life skills that all successful students need!
