Ensemble Espanol is a 501 3 C organization located in Chicago, Illinois in residency on the NorthEastern Illinois University campus which was founded nearly 50 years ago by Dame Libby Kamaiko. Since then Ensemble Espanol has excelled at celebrating their mission: to preserve, promote, and perform the 4 styles of Spanish dance. We train dancers from age 4 to age 70 in flamenco, classico-espanol, folklore, and escuela bolera dance forms. It is our goal to provide highly accessible, low cost opportunities for youth in Chicago to receive a high caliber dance training experience in Spanish dance forms, ballet, and contemporary dance.
