City of Evanston CARP Activities

Climate Action & Resilience Plan (CARP)

Students who participate in these Climate Action & Resiliance Plan (CARP) activities can learn about the local effects of climate change in relation to four categories: Air, Heat, Waste, and Water. These activities allow students to reflect on how these four areas interact with both themselves and their family's lives. The curriculum is available for students and any other organization to dive deeper into the content when they sign-up for a free account with the platform. This material was created by community partner Quest 4 Earth.

To get started, sign-in to EL3 using your District 65 Google sign-in and enter the Group Code GG0PA to access the activties (under the playlist tab).

When a student completes all four activities, that student’s name will be added to the Climate Action and Resilience Plan page on the City of Evanston’s website, declaring them an official Evanston Climate Champion. The top submission in each of the 4 categories will receive the city of Evanston swag, be shared on the City of Evanston’s social media accounts, and a $25 gift card.
