Plugged In & Live: Chicago Blues
Plugged In & Live: Chicago Blues
Description
This is an in-person program. All new students who haven't been assigned a band must contact managingdirector@themusicaloffering.org so that you can be placed in a band with open spots.
Combo consists of three to six members depending on the instruments. We focus on learning Chicago Blues standards and improvisation. Players should have a minimum of 2 years playing and know how to play major scales in multiple keys.
Ideal for people who have been playing a while and just want to try going to the next level by playing simple arrangements in a group setting and a great introduction to improvising.
When: Tuesdays 7:45-8:45pm (Adults), Sundays 1-2pm (kids)
Class fee: $25 per class. For the fall and winter/spring sessions, the class meets for 16 weeks for a total fee of $400. For the summer, the class meets for 11 weeks for a total fee of $275.
