The Putt-Putt Project

The Depot

Mini-Golf. Remember that? Meet up with friends and try out your putting skills on outrageously engineered greens.

Well, since we’re not allowed to go to those, we’ve decided that we’ll build our own! Join us and learn how to create the biggest, most obnoxious putting green you can imagine. Complete with motorized, moving obstacles, lights, sounds, and more.

We’ll provide the kits to get you started, host regular check-ins and livestreams with mentors to keep you moving, and host a digital 18+ hole course run-through celebration extravaganza to celebrate your creations!!! Registration is required. Grades 6-8.

When is the camp?

July 20-31

What times do you meet?

Livestreams: Mondays - Thursdays from 2:00-2:30 pm.

Tune to our YouTube channel were you can watch mentors create games step-by-step.

Drop-ins: Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 2:30-3:00 pm

Have questions? What to connect with mentors? Come by our Drop-in sessions!!

What equipment do I need?

This camp requires access to the internet and a computer or Chromebook. You will also need access to cardboard and other recycled materials to build your putt-putt project. We will provide you with an equipment kit that will include motors and a circuit board to control them.

Who can sign up?

Evanston residents in Grades 6 - 8.
