After an introductory keynote speech from Jessica Esquivel, a particle physicist from Fermilab and prominent voice for scientists and women of color in the community, students will participate in two workshops led by female scientists from Northwestern. We hope to introduce the girls to role models who can show them that STEM is for them and to help them discover just how fun a career in science can be.
