Quest4Earth (Q4E) is a fun Saturday program focusing on music, engineering and activism through an environmental justice lens. Q4E is for underrepresented students in STEM (girls and all students who identify as African American, LatinX and/or Native American) in 4th or 5th grade who attend District 65 schools.
PLEASE ONLY REGISTER IF YOUR CHILD IDENTIFIES WITHIN ONE OF THE UNDERREPRESENTED GROUPS!
In Q4E, students will be explorers, creators, and storytellers; produce content for hip-hop videos and other media, and learn about environmental science through inquiry- and project-based workshops. The science they learn is incorporated into their own stories, and they are able to educate and inspire family members, other youth, and their community.
The program will be from October 5, 2019, to March 21, 2020, every other Saturday from 10 am to 12:30 pm with family pizza at noon!!!
