Kumbaya Summer Chess Camps provide students at all knowledge levels with a tangible means to improve their chess skills through professional instruction, practice, and one-on-one coaching. Our camps are open to all experience levels. We aim to cultivate concentration, logic, critical thinking, and sportsmanship in a fun strategic setting for all levels of play. Beginner players will be introduced to the rules, moves, etiquette, and basic game strategies. Experienced players will have opportunities to enhance their skills by mastering opening game theory, middle-game tactics, and end-game combinations.
